We hired NCCS to provide support, guidance and training to our newly formed observation team. Neil and his team provided a high-quality training programme for our managers which was both supportive and developmental. Staff commented very positively on their approach to training and how they had developed both their competence and confidence in being able to undertake rigorous observations, and how to use the information to drive further improvements in the quality of teaching and learning in their respective areas.
Since 2014 we have provided a Post 19 educational provision, Oakbridge, in partnership with Barnet and Southgate College for young people with complex educational needs. In 2018, due to revised government legislation, we were aware that this agreement had to be terminated by July 2018 and so as a Trust we decided to apply to the EFSA for sole provider status for a post 16 specialist college in March 2018.
In order to strengthen our application, we requested support and guidance from NCCS , and through their rigorous review of our provision, they was able to provide us with a clear understanding of our strengths and areas for development, and then worked closely with us make the necessary improvements.
Their advice, guidance and support were invaluable, and a key factor in us successfully securing our provider status in September 2018.

We procured NCCS Ltd to refresh and develop our Quality Assurance Framework in line with the revised Education Inspection Framework. Neil provided support, guidance and training to the team, developing confidence and competence with quality assurance activities. Neil made practical solutions to ensure the quality of our provision was high, whilst supporting us in reducing some unnecessary paperwork and processes, meaning we could focus our resource on the impact we have on our learners. Neil is very approachable, and this made it much easier to be transparent about areas we needed support and made the working relationship very easy. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Neil to aid with both operational and strategic improvements.
